STATE SENATOR LINDA STEWART TELLS ME SHE PLANS TO HAVE THOSE PAPER APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE AT HER OFFICE ON BUMBY IN ORLANDO. THEY WILL BE IN A FOLDER OUTSIDE MY DOOR, AND THAT TO ME, WE ARE GOI TO OLD-FASHIONED PAPER, BUT SOMETIMES THAT WORKS THE BEST. Florida coronavirus cases surge past 10,000 as death toll climbs
Florida now has more than 10,000 cases of coronavirus and 170 people in the state have died after contracting the virus.As of Friday evening, 10,268 people in Florida have tested positive for the virus, including 9,284 residents. More than 1,300 people were hospitalized. - Seminole County: 163 cases
- Volusia County: 125 cases
- Lake County: 88 cases
- Brevard County: 62 cases
- Sumter County: 68 cases
- Polk County: 91 cases
- Marion County: 38 cases
- Flagler County: 28 cases
- Alachua County: 108 cases
There have been seven deaths reported in Orange County, four in Osceola County, three in Sumter County, two in Lake County, one in Flagler County, and one in Volusia County.
