There have been 40 presumptive positive COVID-19 cases in casino workers across Pennsylvania since the time of reopening through Aug. 9, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board confirmed on Friday. The infections happened between early June and Aug. 9. The PGCB said the number of current potentially positive cases is now lower than 40.The state said some of the workers were near patrons.In each case, the state said the casino’s pandemic officer reported the matter to the PGCB and the Department of Health the day the employee contacted their employer that they tested and the test was presumptively positive.
