Apple debuted a collection of personal privacy functions when it announced iOS 14, but the company’s privacy “nutrition label” idea did not show up with the launch of the brand-new operating system in September. Today, Apple revealed that developers will be needed to offer the info for those “labels” beginning December 8th.
Like a normal nutrition label that lists components and caloric material, these privacy “labels” should offer you a much better concept of what’s going on inside an app prior to you download it from the iOS App Store or Mac App Shop. The labels will note what details an app collects, and present that aesthetically on the app page, similar to looking at the backs of labels in a supermarket.
